Blazhe Jankuloski, Ace Nedelkovski and Goran Filiposki could not wait for the cleaning of the road Mavrovo - Galichnik from the snow, in order to spend the beginning of the spring in Galichnik. Therefore, they decided to reach their destination by foot, starting from Janche.

In addition, we present you some of their photos, from which the spring cannot be sensed still, but the clear and nice weather can be perfectly caught.

Written by Kjeaja

The autumn which slowly passes by, will be marked by couple of photos from Tonivoda, made in October and November. By this, again, we are sorry that we have to prepare for Galichnik's hibernation. The beautiful title photo is taken by Maja Dimitrovska, and if anyone else has taken interesting photos from this period of the year, feel free to send them so that we can publish them in the addition to this post.

Also, there are new photos in the gallery, for which we thought they deserve to be put among the already shown ones.

Cry of Bigorski
Written by Kjeaja
Monday, 05 October 2009 22:15
These days whole Reka as well as the wider macedonian public lives in sadness after the great loss suffered in the fire which gripped the monastery St. Jovan Bigorski and the priceless things that were swallowed by the flames. The cry of the monks and the people in the valley of Radika, immediately triggered a wide donation action for renewal of the irreplaceable, to numb the pain which has been inflicted to the Reka region and the world's heritage.

Galichnik-Official immediately took part in that action, by leaving the appeal of the monks brotherhood for helping the monastery on the front page for a longer period of time. Although we are furious because of the reasons for this great damage, we will put our feelings on hold and focus primarily on the ways the monastery should be helped.

Projections and photos
Written by Kjeaja
Sunday, 19 July 2009 22:19
On 10.07.2009, in the eve of the start of "Galichnik Wedding 2009", a very important event took place in the church St. Petar i Pavle in Galichnik. An event, whose importance was not covered enough by the media, no matter been shadowed by the main manifestation, and therefore it deserves to  be dedicated with some space on Galichnik-Official. A reason more, represents the fact that part of the people who followed this event, after the end, were behaving as if they were watching a classic cinema performance, not a projection which has far greater meaning.

Opening of the evening

That Friday night, for the first time since the cinema in Galichnik stopped working, a movie projection was held, or more specific, two films Galichnik and Galichnik Wedding were played - the first one from Sifrid Miladinov from 1939, and the second one from Gordana Andreevska (who also had the  introduction speech) and Marjan Stojnev from 2008. Information about the two films had already been posted on this site, but important is the moment - projection of the first and the last color movie made with themes from Galichnik. The evening of projections was complemented with an exhibition of old photographs from the Kumanovo native Miladinov, as well as from the first person from Galichnik who began to take interest in that field - Aleksa Gjinoski.

If someone told you about a month ago that Galena Kutreska from Galichnik passed away, to many of you that information wouldn't have meant anything. But when the media passed the information that it is about Gaca, the public in Galichnik, Macedonia and elsewhere, was very aware what that meant.
